    60 10 Flashes? June 7, 2008
Reviewer: Ward Starring from Bremerton, WA United States
I like most things about this unit except I haven't quite figured out what they mean by 60 10 flashes per minute; mine will flash anywhere from once per second to once every 25 seconds, not what I would want if I was in the water at night with a search aircraft flying low overhead.  I had expected an electronic device to have near perfect timing at once every second.  Also, I believe the older models had a more visible flash tube but this is progress.

I like everything about this unit except the uncertainty of the flash rate; I've even used three different types of batteries in it which seems to make no difference in the flash rate.  Otherwise, it's a great little unit... if you can trust it to flash when needed.
