ACR ResQLink™

The Science of Survival

Small and mighty, the ResQLink™ Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) is a full-powered, GPS-enabled rescue beacon designed for anglers, pilots and back country sportsmen.

At 4.6 oz, the ResQLink™ weighs less than a couple of PowerBars®. Topping at just 3.9 inches, it's smaller than the cell phone in your pocket.
Affordable and lightweight, the ResQLink™ is the world's smallest Personal Locator Beacon. Yet, the ResQLink™ is big on power and the operational reliability you've come to expect from all ACR products.

Even in extreme conditions, the ResQLink™ activates easily. Just deploy the antenna and press the ON button. The ResQLink™ utilizes 3 levels of integrated signal technology - GPS positioning, a powerful 406 MHz signal and 121.5 MHz homing capability - to guide rescuers to within 100 meters or less of your position. Pair the ResQLink™ PLB with your ACR EPIRB or ARTEX ELT for the perfect safety combo.

Two built-in tests allow you to routinely verify that the ResQLink™ is functioning and ready for use - with the push of a button, you can easily test internal electronics and GPS functionality.

A built-in strobe light provides visibility during night rescues. PLBs have been proven tried and true in some of the world's most remote locations and treacherous conditions.

A needed item. May 21, 2013
Reviewer: Scott from Seattle
Like to hike a lot on all the wonderful trail we have out there but do find it easy to get turned around.  Plus hearing about folks getting lost even very close to urban areas that I felt I should make the investment in a PBL just in case it was needed.  After searching a lot on the web for different brands and what the do I decided that this was a good unit for me and Hodges had the best price around!  Super fast shipping also.  Would recommend them to others looking to purchase a PBL.

Latest Beacon March 12, 2012
Reviewer: Lok from Australia
This latest generation PLB is smaller than an iPhone. I do kayak fishing in Ausytalia blue water and I hope I never have to use it. Bought it directly from USA so I have to register it directly with NOAA which I found Sharon there to be most helpful.

I purchase another 3 similar PLB for my kayaking/fishing friends whilst I was in New York. Hodges' shipping to Australia was relatively expensive for a small item.
Otherwise Hodges' price is very competitive.

Resqlink December 5, 2011
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Pa
Bought it for an adventure hunt in some pretty dangerous country. Thank goodness I didn't need to use it, but it found the satellite link every morning. Small and compact enough to fit in your pocket which I like. Wouldn't do you any good if it was in your pack after you fell down a 100ft hill, and your pack was at the top of it. Always keep in your pocket! Highly recommended! Could save your life!!!

I hope I never need my to use my ACR ResQLink! October 27, 2011
Reviewer: Noah from Bozeman, MT
As a backcountry skier/snowmobiler/hunter... who sometimes goes solo there is always the remote possibility that I may be severely injured.  If that happens, well, I now have a PLB - the ACR ResQLink.  I hope I never use this device but I have it around my neck for all those days going solo here in Montana, Idaho and Wyoming.
