We went far too long without this supplement to our navigation. Paper charts are always more secure, but unless you have a dedicated navigator to make recordings and take readings, you'll get messed up single handing in anything other than perfect auto pilot conditions. That's where this jewel comes in, because you see where you are on the screen! Without a good chart addon, your zoom may show an entire island, and you a big blip on a microscopic shoreline, so who knows what the heck is right there around you! With this chart, even though it is a wide area chart, in popular navigation areas the detail gets right down to the close details you need to stay off the rocks! This one chart takes over where our Bahamas chart leaves off and gets us all the way to Trinidad! Excelent value!!!!!!
