Xantrex Echo Charge 12v & 24v

Convenient Dual Battery Bank Charging

Xantrex digital echocharge (part#82-0123-01) is designed to charge auxiliary or starting batteries from an inverter/charger or other charging source with limited voltage drop. The Xantrex echocharge detects when the house battery bank is being charged and directs a portion of the charge current to auxiliary or starting batteries. The maximum charger current offered by echocharge is limited to 15 amps.

This system works great for supporting a 55lb trolling motor / single 12v battery.
After two months use on the coast, provides enough on the water recharge for a full weekend of heavy T-motor use.

The product is acceptable.  The intended purpose was to solve the problem of Xantrex Pathmakers being shutdown due to low battery voltage (below 12.7v).  However, the Echo-Charge also shuts down if the battery voltage is below 10 volts.  Not a well designed product for marine use.
