A lot of "bang for your buck"! April 20, 2013

Great unit for the money! I own a 597 and bought the 587 for the front of the boat. Honestly, there's no noticeable difference in the two.

If your trying to decide between the two, my advise is to go with the 587 and use your savings to buy a navionics card!
