JENSEN MRF27 Floating Waterproof Wireless RF Remote

The MFR27 Wireless Waterproof Remote Control utilizes Radio Frequency (RF) technology which allows audio control even when the device isn't pointed directly at the audio source. This means you can pick and choose your music selections whether floating in the water, laying out on the deck, snacking in the galley, or laying low in the cabin and transmits up to 100' away!

Great Accessory! August 19, 2010

Our boat didn't have transom mounted stereo controls and the stereo itself is mounted inside the glovebox.  Therefore the driver couldn't control the stereo while driving (ex: turning volume down in no-wake zones) and when out of the boat, someone had to climb in to adjust volume or skip to another song.  This little jewel is perfect!  In my opinion, it is better than transom mounted controls.  We've mounted the remote's holder in the cockpit so the driver has easily accessible controls.  When outside of the boat, we hang the remote over the rear cleat via a lanyard we've attached through the top opening on the remote.  Best part is the remote truly floats!  With our iPod connected with the proper cable, this remote controls not only the stereo but the iPod as well.  Purchase was well worth the money.

Just What I needed! October 15, 2008

The radio on my boat is on the passenger side, while water skiing, that person is turned around backwards.  We had been having trouble turning the radio up and down when we needed to hear.  The remote, which I attached to the throttle, works great to over come this.  We also use it when we beach the boat on an island and get out and play in the water.  We can turn the radio up or down, change the channel, without having to get up.  Highly Recommended.
And It floats!!
