Tilt Steering Control

70lb thrust - WOW! July 20, 2008

Upgraded from a Minn kota Edge 48lb to the Maxxum 70lb and I can fly into the wind!  Love it!!  I would highly recommend getting the digital maximizer... I can easly do three days of bass fishing with a single charge.

My son has used this Trolling Motor for the last few months and has nothing but positive comments.  He has a 17' Skeeter aluminum bass boat, 70 Ft pounds is more than enough. The varible speed is the only way to go, considering the extra battery life.  He can fish for a couple of days without re-charging batteries.  Very quiet, a little pricy, but what isn't these days. Would buy again from Hodges marine.
