A great product! |

Original Idea was fishing my small pontoon
in small Ohio lakes with a 10hp limit. With
160 lbs. of thrust and gas at $4 plus a gallon
I have added solar panels to achieve a spiffy
green long range pontoon that is friendly to
both my wallet and the planet! This dual
Minn Kota motor rig is super, reliable, quiet
and gets a lot of attention when sitting on the boat trailer.
Downside is extra weight of the MK160, 4
27 series 12Volt batteries, and 12, 15 Watt
solar panels adding about 400 pounds and
I would do it all over again, as I really like
the rig.
