Low Maintenance No inflator maintenance is require for 5 years unless the PFD has been inflated. You can easily view the inflator status and replacement date through the safety inspection window. Great PFD December 2, 2009 Reviewer: Maryann from NJ United States   This is a great PFD for the captain of any sailboat.  There is a lot of work to sailing and you don't want to have a heavy PFD on.  It's also good that it doesn't make you any hotter than you already are in the summer sun!  Good choice!
