We have only used this motor a few times but so far it has performed very well and is an excellent motor. My only complaint is that they made the cable to the foot pedal to short which means it limits where you can practically mount the motor. It would have been nice to mount it to the back of our 12' flatbottom but it's really only usable with a bracket mounted to the front. If I had a way to lengthen the cable it would get five stars.
