Product does a good job a getting boat on plane, not so much on leveling out on plane. Worth money to get boat on plane and run at lower rpms.

Smart Tabs |

This was my first order from Hodges, and I have placed orders since because of the excellent delivery, service, and pricing. I was leery about the Smart Tabs at first, but decided to give them a try. My boat is a 20 ft aluminum with a 150 hp merc and a 9.9 kicker with a 50 gal gas tank. The point being that there is a lot of weight in the stern and the boat is slow coming out of the hole and coming to plane. I added a Stingray foil to the engine, and it improved some, but not as much as I wanted. The Nauticus Smart Tabs did the job, and also improved the handling. The staff at Nauticus and their website were very helpful as were the staff at Hodges. The best part is that I didn't have to spend $600 for the other Tabs. Hodges is great to deal with.
