A compact powerhouse, the Ray55 VHF radio offers unmatched performance and style. Like our new Ray218 the Ray55 can be used with the optional Raymic remote handset for full function radio control and intercom capibillity from a remote station on board.

I received the Raymarine model 55 VHF very promptly after placing my order. The package was intact and I wrapped it very nicely as a Christmas present to me.

I have installed the unit along side other Raymarine instruments, and it functioned very well during a brief radio check.

I installed the optional external speaker to be heard over the 2 x 671 JT's at cruising speed.

I personally prefer the traditional unit, so this Ray 55 replaced a Raymarine model 230 that had failed.
