My St1000+ is not maintaining course in Auto anymore after almost 20 years of perfect use. A Just bought here a new one hoping it will last the same. Laurence Bedell maybe your problem is related to Operating Sense Reversal that can be changed pressing +1 an -1 together for 5 seconds. Look at the manual.

After doing all the things necessary to use it , it seems to be in the southern hemisphere. It goes in the opposite direction than what I set. 180 degrees off. I will hire someone in the spring to help set it up. Is it possible that you couyld suply me with detailed description on how to adjust the hemisphere?
