I find the Humminbird GPS/Fishfinder Combo I purchased from Hodges Marine to work really well. Great imaging and well laid out functionaltiy in that price point. Very reactive imaging.

This is a great combo unit. Especially for the money. I actually own 2. One at the console and one at the trolling motor. Very versatile unit. Can't go wrong if cost is a factor.

Hodges delivered promptly as promised. I haven't used the fishfinder yet because I wanted a trolling motor transducer rather than transom mount which came with it. Humminbird offerred to exchange so I sent in the transom mount. However, it has taken almost a month to get the new transducer. It just came yesterday so will be installing today. Hodges gets the 5 stars. We'll wait to see how the fishfinder performs.

This finder is real versatile.  It has tons of options for viewing.  My next step is to limit the views that scroll when pushing the page button.  I use the split screen regular/down imaging.  Only negative is the internal map; pretty lame.
