I replaced my previous pump Jabsco Sensor Max 14 Variable Speed Water Pump w/ the Jabsco Sensor Max 17 Variable Speed Water Pump.  This pump works a bit smoother and handles just the right amount of flow for my application.  The great thing about this product is that I get an increase in flow with the same product dimensions as the previous pump.  Works as expected!!

Good pump, but not perfect August 26, 2008

Excellent water flow from almost nothing to full. Low sound level at low speed. Low amperage draw at low speed. At high speed sound and power consumption are as high as any other comparable pump.

Bad things:
Wire gauge is too small.
The Radio Frequency Filter is a little black plastic box mounted on the power chords. And with such thin wiring, it has to be mounted and clamped very carefully to avoid vibrations that can ruin everything, cause there is no way to fix a broken cable. It is molded in some plastic stuff and will snap at the worst place you can think of.
