I really like the comfort of my new Pfd. It is fairly light weight and easy to wear while actually fishing.

The Mustang Deluxe Automatic PFD is a very comfortable device.   No worrys about rain or splashing water on the device, it will not activate unless submersed.  A little expensive, but in my opinion well worth it.

It is a comfortable vest and you don't even know it is on.  I haven't fell into the water so I don't know how it will perform when needed.  Hopefully never get to that point.  Comfortable to wear

I purchased the the Mustang Deluxe Auto PFD as a gift for my husband.  He loves it and I feel better knowing he always keeps in on when on the water.  With his old vest type PFD it was always removed immediately when the boat stopped and he says this one is so light and comfortable he almost forgets he has it on.

Mustang PFD soars March 30, 2010

This PFD was purchased to replace an old Ranger life jacket.  Primary concerns were that it would be comfortable and light weight for all day wearing.  If I fell in the 40 degree F lake on a 20 degree day with boots, bibs, pants, three shirts a fleece pull over and a heavy winter waterproof down insulated jacket; I may never see my kids again.  Although I have yet to really 'use it', this PFD is so comfortable after about 10 minutes I forgot that I had it on and actually wore it to the weigh in by accident. Really a time saver when you put it on and leave it on.  The only down side, no pockets to hold 10 pounds of pre rigged shakey head worms and drop shot sinkers; perhaps that is why the fat old Ranger vest was so heavy!
