Not too heavy. Not cumbersome. Well made. Enough space in the unit to even fit a mid-size beacon. Nice little side pocket for adding a small flip-phone. Overall: a professional unit.

it was reasonably priced,delivered on time, exactly as ordered, and in perfect shape.  Haven't had to use it to see if it inflates, but it fits well. So far, so good,

Mustang Inflatable PFD November 4, 2011

I bought this PFD for offshore sailing.  Very comfortable for when worn for hours at a time.  Not overly hot or heavy.  Luckily, I did not have to test it, but felt very safe.  Spent several hours in the rain with no deployment as advertised.

Mustang PDF and harness July 12, 2011

This is an excellent product.  We sailed around the DelMarVa Penninsula in 7 days with 3 days and 2 nights nonstop in the open ocean under very confused sea conditions and up to 25 knots of wind.  The seas consisted of 6 foot ocean swell with a perpendicular 4 to 5 foot chop.  Uncomfortable to say the least for a 30 foot boat.  I did not take the PFD off for 72 hours and never felt it to be uncomfortable even when teathered to the boat or when going forward on the jack lines.  Again, an excellent product that I would certainly recommend.

The Mustang Deluxe Auto Hydrostatic Inflatable PFD with Harness is extremely comfortable and extremely well made.   Bought it last year but have not yet tested.   Sleek, slim, fairly lightweight, it makes wearing a PFD much easier.   Wish they made them for shorter people too.   This one works great for a range, including 5'11".

This is a great PFD for the captain of any sailboat.  There is a lot of work to sailing and you don't want to have a heavy PFD on.  It's also good that it doesn't make you any hotter than you already are in the summer sun!  Good choice!

Great PFD. Fits comfortably. Quality workmanship. Good name. That is why I bought it. Oh, great price too here at Hodges. I buy most things here for that reason and the great service.
