a good charger, maybe no the fastest out there, but good for the normal fisherman.
This is the second one I have had.  the last one lasted about 5 yrs.

nothing but praise for this charger. There are faster chargers out there, but for the money I don't think you will find a better one out there!

Very nice charger. Well made and connect it to both batteries and forget about it.
Wish it would turn off completely when fully charged to conserve energy but it does not. Still warm to the touch even when not charging.

Excellent product at a great price. I've only been using it for a couple of months but have found it to be essentially idiot proof and very effective. I'm using it on my pontoon boat with two batteries and lots of electrical goodies, and frankly, I don't know how I lived without it. When I get home from the water I just plug it back in and forget it, then I'm ready to go next time. Maintains your batteries at a constant voltage level, which not only makes your life much easiser but also helps your batteries last longer. Recharges them quickly too. I highly recommend this charger.

So far, this battery charger has been well worth the money.  It's kept both of my batteries fully charged, and because it monitors and adjusts the charging rate, I never have to disconect the unit.  It was easy to install, and was small enough (though it is quite heavy) to mount it inside the battery compartment door.  Props to Hodges as well for excellent service and speedy shipping.
