15 of us use this radio with the ear piece.  Works great over mountains.  Water proof and hold up to lots of abuse.

Enuf for any beginner fer sure September 25, 2009

I just wanted something to get weather updates and get me out of trouble if I had to. The unit stayed in touch with my base camp many miles away so that was fine. I put myself in a remote area so you can forget the weather frequency updates. The unit is quality, you can tell it's made well. I feel secure that I can communicate when needed, when my life depends on it. Thats the point eh?  Hodges Marine came through for me fast too. Two thumbs up there folks.

because we have been using a Standard handheld on our boat.  The HX370 is a compact and easy to operate radio with good reception.  As a gift, the recipent was more than surprised and loves the radio.  I shopped for pricing and Hodges Marine beat the competition hands down and the shipping was expedient. Great Radio at a Great Price/what more can be said?!!

My wife needed a new VHF hand held for use while paddling our kayak.  I could not pass up on the deal Hodges offered on the radio.  Performance and quality is what you would expect from Standard, great.  The only complaint is they do not have a lanyard attachment loop.

This product was ordered for a gift and was received with great enthusiasm.  So far the radio has operated as expected and no problem has occurred.  Dealing with Hodges Marine has been exceptional and shipping was prompt.  I highly recommend this dealer.

Great Handheld August 1, 2007

This is a great handheld.  Battery lasts longer than any other than I have had in the past and the belt clip is fantastic.  Easy to removed the radio from the clip and won't come out of the clip by mistake.
