I purchased this compass for an O'Day Mariner Sailboat. I feel it is a very attractive and functional unit. I have a dozen sails with her installed and it has preformed flawlessly. It also includes and inclinometer that is optional in the install as it is a separate unit and could be installed beneath the unit or at another location.
The size is great, not too small where you could not see the heading card back at the tiller, and not too large to be a problem to install.
The template to install the compass was perfect and very well laid out. Very easy install with one hole (I used a hole saw, you could cut with a jig saw too.) and 4 small mounting holes for the fastners and one for the lighting wire. All mounting items for a regular install are included, plastic/nylon threaded rods, nylon nuts, and a quality gasket for the unit.
Hodges Marine had a fantastic price. Very fast shipping at a fair rate.
Overall a great purchase at a wonderful price. Thanks!
