Wave Wifi Rogue Pro Ethernet Converter/Bridge
Wave Wifi Rogue Pro

Rogue Pro Ethernet Converter/Bridge

The Rogue Pro features the same trouble-free high powered performance of the Rogue Wave in a sealed, polished stainless steel marine case. The Rogue Pro requires an integral 1"-14" standard antenna mount (not Included).

In addition to the enhanced dust and moisture resistance, the stainless steel housing offers superior impact resistance. The Rogue Pro was developed in response to a need for an extremely ruggedized WiFi device for commercial, military and Homeland Security projects.

Like all Wave WiFi models, the Rogue Pro is an Ethernet Converter (EC) so a direct connection can be made to any Ethernet enabled device, router or switch. This means that, when connected to a wireless router, the Rogue Wave provides internet connectivity for numerous wireless devices aboard the boat. There is no software to install and no power robbing USB coonections.

  • Adjustable output up to 29dBm (800mW)
  • Supports 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz)
  • Up to 7-mile range*
  • Easy to use proprietary web-based Wave WiFi Interface
  • Compact, ultra-small Stainless Steel design
  • 120/220 VAC & 12 VDC PoE injector
  • 1-year limited warranty

*Actual distance may be affected by the strength and quality of the hot spot signal, as well as having a clear line-of-site to the boat.

excellent performance with easy user interface April 5, 2015
Reviewer: Don Joyce from Dominican Republic
We've used Wave SiFi Rogues for a long time.  The Pro model keeps getting better in waterproofing.  We unfortunately loose them due to nearby lightning.

The user interface makes it easy for anyone on the boat to setup without prior knowledge as opposed to the regular bullets on which the rogue is bases.

works great and reliably December 13, 2014

I would  give 5 stars except that I am disappointed in the cable connection inside the unit - it is difficult to get to and easily lets the cat5 slip out.  I fixed it by sticking in a small sponge-type fabric to hold things in place, but still....

Also, inserting the cat5 is best done with the antenna off the mount but then the cable and antenna both need to be screwed onto the mount - making for twirly cable.

All in all, am satisfied but wish they could have made the mount/attachment point a little easier design

Easy Wifi setup June 16, 2014
Reviewer: Peter V from Niantic, CT
easy setup connecting to existing router WAN port.  Currently have a Simrad GofFree Wifi-1 which can be configured to have one port as a WAN.  I now am able to have wifi access simultaneously with  GoFree and Fusion link by all my wireless devices

Excellent Reception, Simple to Use January 21, 2014
Reviewer: Barry Smith from St. Lucia (this week)
The Rogue Wave Pro has greatly improved our ability to pick up wifi signals, and it's software is intuitive and easy to use.

Unfortunately, and this has nothing to do withe the product, there are very few signals that are not password protected.  Often there are plenty of signals, but none are available. I believe this trend will continue since all new wifi routers now come password protected out of the box.
