The inverter arrived as promised, and so far is exactly what we needed. The install manual was well-written and thorough, and the install went smoothly. The automatic transfer switch is great—one of the main reasons we bought it. We're living this winter at 4,000 feet in California in a trailer with a small solar system that doesn't quite cover all our electrical needs, so we supplement with generator power. The charger in the inverter seems to be quite good, and powerful.
There were a number of reviews on various sites of people having trouble with this unit failing within the first year, and subsequent problems with Xantrex on repair and replacement; I'm hoping that's not the case with our unit—so far so good.

I installed on my freightliner coronado> my rig came prewired for 120 electrical but with a shore power plug very simple to connect the shore power to the input of the inverter and the output to the electrical boxes i used 0 gauge wire to wire to the batteries and once connected everything cycled through correctly. the plus of the 3 stage charger is great because no more unloading my fridge or freezer when home just plug in and go. Plus in no idiling areas it works well because if my batteries get low i either plug into another persons inverter or into an outlet n charge my batteries to start my rig. great product easy install and nice features love the mountable display no extra to buy except the battery install kit which i ordered a oguage amplifer install kit whioch was 100 included all connectors .
So far working great
