How long is the cord to the transducer?

Hi, this item includes a 20ft transducer cable, as well as a 36ft power cable

How shallow will it read?

The Humminbird Hdr 650 Black, White, Or Chrome Bezel W/Tm Tranducer comes with the XNT 9 28 and should handle depths up to 600 ft deep.

Can the transducer that comes with the unit be mounted in hull?

The included transducer is designed for the transom.

Does is give water temp as well?

This does not read temperature. It will only read depth.

The specs on this are very similar to HawkEye DepthTrax...do they have the same internals? what it IPX rating?

The specs are similar on the two units, they use very similar transducers. Information on the internals is proprietary and you will need to contact Humminbird or Hawkeye for that information. The HDR650 IPX rating is IPX7

I have limited space for the gauge , and need to know what the TOTAL installed diameter INCLUDING THE BEZLE is . Humminbird customer service was useless after 4 calls . BTW , I have already purchased the gauge but am afraid to open the package till I have an answer . THANKS ! Dave

The total diameter with the bezel is 2.5"

What color bezel is included??

Black, White and Chrome bezels are included in the package.
