After a lot of research I bought the Floscan for my Cruisers Yachts 400 Express (43'). We have twin Volvo 8.1 L gas engines. Installation of the Floscan went smoothly even with the nervous cutting of the gas lines to each engine. Documentation was good although it took several readings of ALL the documentation to get it all figured out. Calibration was smooth and the bottom line is that this meter is accurate to less than 1% for total Gas consumption! Pretty good in my book. While underway the Floscan is easy to read and gives very good feedback on engine performance relative to boat operation. Considering the price (especially good from Hodges) I am figuring a payback on gas savings over two years of operations, maximum. I highly recommend this unit!
