Got this for my husband for Fathers Day. He seems happy with it, and we did spot some fish on our fishing trip.

smartcast is great for non boaters, cast out and draw back to check depth, temp. and see whats down there, has great detail for such a small sounder

Have used the RF35 2ce now and have seen structure & fish, didn't catch any but I saw them. I fish out of a kayak and trail the transponder behind. System works out fine.

This order was the second for me so both my sons now have one. It is excellent and lives up to its advertisements. They use it for bass in ponds in Indiana and for trout in the High Sierras of California. A necessary piece of equipment for fishermen who like to float tube.
