So far has worked excellent already saved buying a new happy troller which was reason for purchase.

Easy Troller Trolling Plate

I have had excelent success with the Easy Troller Trooling plate. It works exactly as advertised. I had previously used one made by another company and found it hard to get into postion and hard to unlock for for high speed running. The easy troller is simple and always locks and releases on the first try. I use it on a 150 HP Johnson motor and it is capable of slowing it down to around 1.2 miles per hour.
