The Lowrance HDS product line is awesome after having other lowrance products and HB products these HDS units are worth the money. If you buy one and fish under 100' set the unit on shallow water. other wise the unit will freak out because it is so powerful. it is so easy to set up and use. the only problem i have is i cant understand why the made it so complicated with so many different models x,m,etc,, they could have sold them cheaper if they would have stuck to one base model to build from. so be careful to buy exactly what you need, otherwise awesome product and great company support. don't listen to bad reviews about the company i give them 5 stars as well. i thought i had a defective unit and i called for a RMA and from the time i sent the unit in and i received a replacement was 10 days and my problem was the deep setting. (learned that watching Bass Pro). GO buy one!!!
