Basically a Good Unit That Needs Work January 6, 2009

We sell Triton 1500's and these were purchased for our customers.  The 1500 is a good unit but we rate them as 2 star as they come from the manufacturer.  They have firmware problems and caching problem to name a few.  We fine tune the units and eliminate the factory problems.  At this point, they are 5 STAR.   They are used for Search and Rescue, Backcountry, Hiking, etc.
