Fairly easy to install as long as you have a wiring diagram of your boat. One wire needs to go to the ignition. Charging is great for my dedicated electronics battery.

I purchased this item to charge two 12 volt trolling motor batteries while running from place to place on a big lake. I fished two and a half days while using my trolling motor 6 to 8 hours each day and never had two recharge the batteries. This product works so good that I'll be purchasing a second unit to install in my new pickup to charge the trolling motor batteries while traveling to small lakes near home where I don't use the big motor because of "no wake" restrictions.
Great solution for electronics dedicated battery
