Bought this for a 2000 Jeep Wrangler since all my previous ones got destroyed by the rain when i had the roof off. It had to be custom installed because dash kits for Jeeps aren't meant for Marine Radios so i can't really fault it for that. on the other hand i have had no problems with it since it was installed. i haven't had the roof on since and the waterproofing works perfectly. mud, grime, gravel, beach sand, and pretty much anything that manages to kick up and into the dash just washed off after 3 minutes with a hose and a sponge without having to worry about damaging the innards. For a marine radio i would highly recomend it and it can be easily installed. the only problem for me was having to have my dash custom fitted to house it but even then it looks and works perfectly.
i would do it again in a heartbeat.
