Standard Horizon HX370SAS intrinsically safe portable VHF radio intended for commercial applications. The HX370SAS is a commercial portable VHF that has been approved for use in Intrinsically safe environments, able to withstand the day-in-day out punishment in hostile environments and capable of submersion in 1Meter of water for 30 minutes. The HX370SAS meets the requirements of ANSI/UL913 6th Edition for Class I, Division 1, Groups A-D; Class II, Groups E-G; and Class III for hazardous locations. VHF Marine and Dealer Programmable LMR channels - The HX370S is factory programmed with all USA, Canadian International and NOAA Weather channels. It also has the capability to be programmed with 40 Land Mobile Radio (LMR) channels with CTCSS or DCS signaling by a Standard Horizon dealer. These channels do require the appropriate FCC license. Features you expect and unique functions - The HX370S has NOAA weather alert capability, when activated warns you of impeding severe weather by audibly alerting you to switch to the active weather channel Scanning is a breeze, the HX370S can be programmed to scan any number of channels with other without priority to channel 16 And also includes Dual Watch. The unique PRESET key allows you to easy recall 8 of your most used channels. An oversized LCD has channel names to inform you of the use of each selected channel. The submersible jack on the top of the HX370S allows connection of optional headset or speaker microphones. Included battery accessories - Standard Horizon supplies the HX370S with a 1400mAh Nickel Metal Hydride battery that will last over 18 hours (5/5/90) when transmitting on high power. Also included is a waterproof alkaline battery tray, 12 VDC Charger, 110 VAC changer and a desk top drop-in cradle to charge the radio on shore or on your boat. Additionally, an easy to see battery life indicator on the LCD warns you when the battery needs recharging. High Intensity Distress strobe light - The high intensity strobe light emits the internationally recognized SOS signal that can be seen over 1 mile away at night... another STANDARD HORIZON first! Submersible (3 feet for 30 minutes) - Engineered for unparalleled reliability, the HX370S submersion in 3 Feet of water for 30 Minutes.
