I like this better than the "ram" mike that Standard offers, but it's still got problems. The speaker faces away from you...so it's not that easy to hear the audio even with the volume at 100%. A remote speaker was needed, and this is a quiet location! The controls are good and easy to use, the display is clear, and the audio quality is very good. NOTE: the remote speaker wires on this harness have volume controlled at the radio, and it's set to be "low" all the time, no matter what you select for the main unit or the remote. Read the manual to learn how to change this feature so your remote speaker will work.

You provided great service and the product arrived intact and it performed as advertised.
This is a great product and is much better than the comparable ICOM unit. The fact that you can mount this near your face is much better than having the whole radio mounted on the dash is great.
I got this instead of the std hand set and the I am glad I did, this has much more features and is less complex to operate. I think this VH-310 and the PS2000 unit is better than any full front mounted radio. I works great.
