We use this radio for onboard communications on a large freighter. The tx/rx power is great, and the battery lasts for many hours between charges. Great price for a great unit. Thanks Hodges Marine!

This handheld VHF performs all of the functions that I require for a back-up radio. I have always received very good service from Standard Horizon products and for the price, this radio is a good value.

I have only had this radio for a short time, but is has been great. No problems what so ever. It is easy to use and clear sounding. I haven't tried floating it yet.
