Easy to install. Works as advertised. Takes some time and experimentation to pick the Gen type if your Gen is not listed. I am sure if I had contacted the support desk they could have told me what type to use but what fun would that be.

The AGS is configurable to auto start or stop at a predetermined voltage. There are other "triggers" that can be configured as well. It auto starts reliably at 12.0v (our setting).
It shuts off at 15.0v (our setting), but that has not been as reliable. While the number of amp hours used is the same, sometimes it will reach 15.0v in 30 minutes, sometimes not in 3 hours. The voltage off setting has been inconsistent. For our use, there are no better "triggers" for turning off.
There is a setting that turns on the generator when reaching a certain draw, but that has not worked at all.
One annoying quirk is when max generator run time is exceeded, the unit will kick into manual mode and will not be automatic again until manually put into auto mode.
The quiet time feature works well.
Overall, the AGS has been a big convenience. While it is not perfect, it does do the job of keeping the batteries charged without us having to think about it very much.
