The CURT Discovery NEXT is a powerful, compact, and intuitive brake controller designed to provide reliable operation of an electric trailer's brakes from the comfort of the vehicle's cabin. With its sleek and modern design and a low-profile bracket for enhanced clearance, this controller offers exceptional control. Manage 2–8 trailer brakes at a time (1-4 axles) with fully adjustable settings that effortlessly adapt to a user's unique vehicle-trailer configuration.

The Discovery NEXT is an upgraded and enhanced version of our renowned Discovery brake controller. It boasts compatibility with low-voltage, PWM, ABS, cruise control, and electric over hydraulic brakes. The slim profile combines functionality with a modern aesthetic, ensuring powerful brake control at a user's fingertips without overpowering the vehicle's dashboard. Easily monitor brake settings at a glance, thanks to the LED display that showcases power adjustments in 0.5 increments. The display also offers full-text diagnostics, simplifying troubleshooting, while the adjustable brightness ensures optimal visibility during day or night towing. Additionally, the included unique mounting bracket further enhances clearance, maintaining an unobtrusive installation.

Equipped with a time-delay feature, the Discovery NEXT brake controller allows for fully adjustable power and ramp time. With a selection of 10 gain settings and nine load settings, users can fine-tune the controller to match a specific towing need precisely. The ramp-up progress is indicated through LED indicators, and the brightness can be adjusted to suit daytime or nighttime towing conditions. Setting up this time-based brake controller is quick and straightforward, as it has no internal moving parts and requires no leveling. It offers versatile mounting options, allowing installation anywhere within the vehicle and at any desired angle. For easy plug-and-play installation, CURT recommends using a CURT brake controller wiring harness (sold separately).
