Since the display is untethered, you are free to roam the vessel while maintaining full situational awareness of your surroundings. For example, you can bring the Radar display with you when jumping into the cabin quickly to grab fishing gear or other tools needed during your voyage.

What is iOS?

The " iOS" is referring to the software or operating system of all apple product. There is a free iOS app you can download and use with the Furuno 1st Watch Wireless Radar.

what are the demensions

The radar is 19.2" wide with a height of 8.2".

Is the DRS4W compatible with the tztl12f muli function display

It does not look like this is compatible with that unit. Furuno lists the DRS4D-NXT radar for that unit.

I am not very familiar with radar but would like to add it to my boat. Do I understand that if I mount this radar unit on top of my hardtop, connect to power, I can use my ipad as the screen? And will not need a seperate display unit? Thanks

Yes, that is correct. You can connect this radar to your IPad to use as a screen to view.

Does it come with any mounting hardware?

Does this unit Bluetooth to my simard nss evo3 And can I download the app to that unit

This unit does not broadcast over bluetooth. Instead, it communicates over wireless LAN to broadcast its radar signal. I don't believe you will be able to pickup the signal with the NSS Evo3 series.

If im in and out of phone signal will radar still work . Or will it work with a ipad with no satellite signal ?

You do not need cell service to connect to the radar, the radar creates it's own local network that you connect your IOS device to when using it as a display for the radar.
