Why use Gtechniq Ceramic Top?
Ceramic Top offers unparalleled dirt-repellency, gloss, and surface slickness.
It has an exceptionally strong anti-static function that helps to keep surfaces dust-free, and also contains a strong UV filter to help prevent premature fading.
Ceramic Top uses a permanent chemical bond to either bond directly to your boat’s gelcoat or topcoat, or a previously installed layer of Ceramic Base.

Simple steps to help you get the best results:
- If applying directly to gelcoat or topcoat, polish the surface to remove any imperfections.
- Ceramic Top bonds best to surgically clean surfaces. Use Gtechniq Panel Wipe and a Gtechniq MF1 Microfibre to remove all polish residue.
- Soak the application pad with product. Spread onto an area measuring no more than 2’ by 2’ (60 x 60cm) and remove residue with a Gtechniq MF1 Microfibre.
- Product usage – The amount of product you will need will vary depending on factors such as the micro porosity of either your gel coat or marine topcoat. The requirement will be anywhere between 5.5 to 7ml/square meter (0.5 to 0.7 ml/square foot).

Hodges Marine accepts returns for up to thirty (30) days after shipment. Our return policy does not apply to the following goods: Open software, mapping/chart data cards, international orders, freight truck only items, and special order items. A RMA number will be issued with instructions for returning the package within a reasonable time (normally 1-3 business days).
