Milk crates provide interior storage areas on the deck of kayaks, canoes, or paddleboards. It is a simple solution to an ever-persistent problem in a sport plagued by a lack of storage space. The YakGear Black Milk Crate comes with the YakGear logo in a standard 13 in. x 13 in. milk crate size, fitting most kayak tank wells or decks. Having milk crates for sale also prevents kayak anglers from being forced to steal beverage distributor crates from stores or shell out major cash on a glorified milk crate storage system.
The crates are honeycomb-designed to allow customization with all YakGear crate rigging accessories, including the Build A Crate Series of accessories. In addition, this kit comes with 2 x Build A Crate single rod holders and 1 x YakGear accessory pouch.
About the Accessory Pouch
The YakGear Accessory Pouch is an easily installed storage pouch that allows storage, protection, and organization for paddling and fishing accessories while on the water. The storage pouch is designed to secure tackle trays, extra lines, pliers, fish grips, and other accessories while keeping them organized at the same time. The 7-inch tall x 12-inch wide gear storage pouch will hold up to a 9-inch x 11-inch tackle box and other accessories up to 11 inches in width or 9 inches in height.
The adjustable top elastic strap combined with the side elastic web strap provides the flexibility necessary to accommodate accessories of varying sizes while maintaining a snug grasp. This gear storage pouch can be mounted anywhere that it is needed, including on a milk crate, the side of a cooler, or on the inside gunwales of the kayak or canoe, for needed extra storage.
The accessory pouch comes complete with stainless steel installation hardware, installation instructions, and rigging tips from YakGear. About the Build a Crate Single Rod Holders: Milk crates, buckets, and coolers provide interior storage areas on the deck of a kayak, canoe, or paddleboard; however, these storage methods do not have any exterior storage or rod holder features.
Rig the exterior of a preferred storage area with the YakGear Build A Crate Kits to fully maximize all storage possibilities. This single rod holder kit provides any paddler with a rod or anchor holder that easily attaches to any storage container with inside access. This allows the paddler to efficiently take advantage of storage space in a sport where extra gear is at a premium and free space is hard to find.
The rod holder is 12 inches long and features trigger cutouts to properly rest and secure reels. As always, this complete kit comes with all stainless steel installation hardware, installation instructions, and rigging tips from YakGear. Waterproof silicone is recommended but not included.

Return Policy
Hodges Marine accepts returns for up to thirty (30) days after shipment. Our return policy does not apply to the following goods: Open software, mapping/chart data cards, programmed AIS units, opened/registered KVH Starlink products, trolling motors, international orders, freight truck only items, and special order items. These items are not eligible for return, refund or exchange. Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable. If your return is accepted by Us, We will provide one of the following within a reasonable time: an exchange of merchandise for the item returned, a non-transferable merchandise credit, a credit to the payment card or original method of payment used to pay for the item, a check, or another remedy that we determine in good faith is appropriate in the circumstances. Customer must request a return merchandise authorization (RMA) through the product returns link on our website or by emailing us at [email protected]. A RMA number will be issued with instructions for returning the package within a reasonable time (normally 1-3 business days).
Defective Products:
A prepaid return shipping label will be provided for defective items if deemed necessary by the manufacturer. The customer must first contact the manufacturer for technical support to confirm product is defective and that product replacement is deemed necessary. Please provide the name of the technician, serial number, and details about the defect. Return instructions and a label will be provided.
Non-Defective Returns:
Eligible non-defective products may be returned for a full refund minus shipping paid (if any). To be eligible for a non-defective return, your merchandise must be unused/unopened and must be in the original packaging. Non-defective returns that show signs of installation/use, missing parts/packaging, missing proof of purchase/UPC code, or have serial numbers that do not match our records will not be accepted. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs of non-defective returns. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items of value. Hodges Marine is not liable for lost or damaged return packages.
General - Cancellations, Shipping Damage, Missing Packages, Shipment Refusals:
Orders that you submit online are processed immediately and may not be cancelled, and you may need to wait until you receive the merchandise in order to return it. Claims of shipment damage, incorrect/missing items, or non-receipt of goods must be made within seven (7) days. Customer is responsible for all costs associated with refused shipments or return to sender (RTS) shipments including carrier fees, freight to the customer, and return freight. We reserve the right to refuse returns that are sent COD, without a return authorization, show signs of undisclosed installation/use, has missing parts/packaging, missing proof of purchase/UPC code, or have serial numbers that do not match our records. If you do not comply with any of the above conditions, We reserve the right to refuse the return/exchange, or to impose different or additional conditions.
